FLY, a photographic, video and sculpture installation, is a homage to the fruit fly, the unsung hero of biological research. Almost all areas of biology have benefited from Drosophila Melanogaster: cancer research, the study of neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s, the genetics of alcohol and drug addiction, and early warning system for global warming.
