I am fascinated by questions about how things work, the unknown and the un-seeable, what can only be observed with a microscope, telescope, and particle accelerator or a computer visualization system.
My work is a personal response to nature that is informed by science. Subjects range from the subtle and dynamic forces at work in the human nervous system to the structure and movement of planetary systems.
Humor, irony and a wide open imagination is an essential part of my process along with a drive to explore new materials and methods that best express the subjects that interest me.
