In Action/Reaction my focus is on neural structures and pathways as energy. This electro chemical energy that is unseen by the naked eye is stunning, mysterious and difficult to imagine in scale and power. I respond intellectually and emotionally to the mysterious grandeur of this phenomenon and express my reactions in dark, transparent paintings with textured surfaces.
